BPSC 70th Result 2026 Latest Update

The BPSC 70th CCE final result is the last stage result of the recruitment process. The selection list has been prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Main Written Examination and Interview. Preliminary examination marks are only qualifying in nature and are not added for final merit. Candidates should therefore check the PDF carefully and confirm their roll number, category, service allocation and final status. Those whose roll numbers appear in the final recommendation list should keep their original certificates, caste/category documents, photo identity proof, educational qualification certificates, domicile related documents and other required papers ready for the next appointment formalities. Candidates are also advised to download the PDF and keep more than one copy for future reference because the same document may be required during verification or joining related steps.

Selection Process and Merit Basis

BPSC conducts the Combined Competitive Examination in three major stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Written Examination and Interview. In the final result, the Commission considers marks of the Main Written Examination and Interview only. The Main Examination carries 900 marks and the Interview carries 120 marks, making the final merit total 1,020 marks. Service allotment is normally decided according to merit position, category reservation, post availability and the preference submitted by candidates. If two or more candidates have equal total marks, tie-breaking rules mentioned by the Commission are applied. Candidates should not treat the final result only as a roll number list; it is also a recommendation list for appointment related action, subject to eligibility verification and compliance with government rules.
